Dear Chocolatier 2022
Jan. 2nd, 2022 01:16 pmHi! I'm so excited to be participating in my first fic exchange. I know whatever you write for me will be wonderful. As a writer myself I know it's good to have a jumping off point, so here are some thoughts!
My firm DNW is anything that would get a "Rape/Non-con" warning on AO3.
In general, I'm a sucker for fluff and hurt/comfort. Take a character or characters who have been through a lot and give them a nice moment with their loved one(s) and I'm sold. I have also been known to enjoy a good whump, but even with those I do prefer happy/hopeful endings over ones that are completely bleak.
Here's the breakdown by fandom. Again, these are just thoughts for inspiration- feel free to go wherever the writing spirit takes you.
Malevolent (Podcast)
I think it's absolutely adorable that someone nominated "Arthur & Blinky & John." There's so much potential for cute moments with a little animal companion. Imagine John being like a reluctant cat dad, all "we are not keeping him >:-(" until he gets attached too. Blinky is just a little creature.
"But pachydermsupernova, why did you nominate Arthur/King/John if you have noncon as a DNW?" Hear me out. You know that post that's like, one dom praising you and one degrading you, good top/bad top? That, and Arthur is the lucky human in the middle. Or maybe some sort of jealousy, like John and King each have a crush on Arthur and get possessive and Arthur is either oblivious or pretending to be. All I'm saying is there are options.
As for Arthur/John, what can I say? I just love them. Whether they're sharing a body or coping with having separate bodies (monster John or newly human John), there's really something special between them. See above for general likes, and honestly any rating goes.
Doctor Who (2005)
Doctor Who is a very nostalgic fandom for me- I've been into it since high school. I love Donna and her friendship with the Doctor, and Martha deserved better than what canon gave her. I don't really have specific ideas here, but see above for my general likes and feel free to go wherever inspiration takes you.
Deltarune (Video Game)
All of these kids are adorable and they have such great dynamics. Ralsei didn't seem to be available for friendship requests, but Ralsei & anyone along with existing relationships would be super fun. I love Susie & Lancer, I think they're good friends for each other. I'd just ask that you not write smut for me for this fandom- I'd much rather have some cute moments, maybe hurt/comfort.
